Our Story
ImaginAdmin provides administrative support and project management services to artists, academics, creatives, and more. We’re a two-person team made of lifelong friends, Jordyn and Poe. We’ve known each other for 17 years and, in that time, we have been friends, roommates, and coworkers in the non-profit sector. As a result of our relationship we’ve learned to communicate effectively, to be honest with each other, and to come up with solutions that support our personal and professional growth. We have 15 years collectively in development management (fundraising and stewardship), grantmaking (management and writing), and programs (facilitation and coordination). Artists, creatives, cultural producers, and academics are our friends, family, and community. We first started by working with them and realized that some of the best projects take the whole village.
We believe that art creates community. It has the ability to remind us of our humanity and our shared beliefs. We believe that when we all work together to create art and community spaces, it’s our chance to see what roles we can play in creating a more collective future. Organization and efficiency, especially when used in service of creating joy, is a necessary part of bringing art and ideas to the world. All of our brains and bodies work differently. We work collaboratively with our clients to find the methods that work best. We’re here to remind you that you don’t have to do it alone to get it done.
Our Team
Jordyn Myers
Administrative Support Specialist, Co-Founder
Jordyn is a facilitator and administrator who has directed a scholarship program, facilitated community grantmaking processes, and now works in grants coordination. She has led workshops ranging from political education on race and class to democratic consensus-based decision making. Jordyn has organized individuals to fundraise tens of thousands of dollars to social justice initiatives, and supported community members in making grant decisions. Jordyn is a big sci-fi and afrofuturism nerd, who loves books and comics, plays volleyball on the weekends, and enjoys taking walks to get little treats.

Poe Browne
Administrative Support Specialist, Co-Founder
Poe has worked in philanthropy at big and small non-profit organizations over the last decade. She has managed millions of dollars from local, state, national, and international funders in addition to administering complex client management systems which track thousands of interaction points with clients and stakeholders. Poe is an experienced administrator, grants manager, development wiz, and Canva queen. Outside of work Poe loves to travel, explore local restaurants, and cuddle with her cat Milo.

We want to encourage you in your area of genius, expand your areas of competence, and plug in our administrative skills - our area of genius - where you’re experiencing gaps and challenges. Our goal is to support you with strategies tailored to the way you work so you can focus on the ideas you haven’t had the capacity to dream into.
When you meet with us we want to hear all about how you work and what you hope to accomplish in your practice. We’ll put together a detailed proposal, organize all your thoughts into areas of work, and offer suggestions for how we might support you. Before we start anything, we’ll go through the whole plan with you, determine a schedule for meetings, and talk about communication styles.
We each have different strengths and styles. At ImaginAdmin, we integrate the best of our skills with the best of yours. Collaboration can be operationalized, and when it is, we open up a world of unexpected possibilities.
